Achyut brings over 25 years’ experience in Microfinance, Challenge Fund, Value Chain Financing, Energy financing and MSMEs in South and South East Asia.

The promotion of appropriate financial products particularly for women and marginalised groups and help Bank and Financial Institutions adopt approaches to launch such products defines his expertise.

He worked with UN organisations and INGOs throughout his career. He also supported multilateral and bilateral donors for the project related to access to finance, microfinance, Energy Financing, MSME finance and establishing Challenge fund and Guarantee including UNDP, DFID/FCDO, DANIDA, USAID, EU and Irish Aid.

Achyut has been technical lead in a range of livelihood projects in Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Laos with Central Bank, national and provincial governments addressing issues of access to finance and digital finance for MSMEs.  He also collaborated with a range of stakeholders through strategic guidance, system improvement, public private partnership, community engagement and women’s economic empowerment.
