Mandeep Guragain is an accomplished engineering and infrastructure executive with a strong track record of driving large-scale investment strategies in clean energy, electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, and climate technology. As Vice President of Infrastructure Engineering at EVgo Inc., he oversees multimillion-dollar capital deployment annually across the U.S., leading the design, execution, and innovation of EV charging networks that are shaping the future of transportation and energy.
With nearly two decades of global experience spanning project development, financial oversight, and regulatory engagement, Mandeep brings deep insight into capital efficiency, infrastructure scalability, and risk-managed growth. He excels at translating complex technical challenges into financially viable, investment-ready solutions, making him a valuable voice in infrastructure and energy investing.
Mandeep has held executive leadership roles at SunPower, TÜV Rheinland, and ABB, where he scaled global teams, implemented AI-driven engineering solutions, and accelerated growth in emerging clean technologies. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in California and an active contributor to policy and regulatory frameworks that govern EV charging and renewable energy systems.
He is currently advancing his strategic leadership through the Stanford LEAD program in Corporate Innovation, further strengthening his ability to guide innovation-focused investments and influence board-level decision-making.
Mandeep holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University, Pennsylvania U.S. and a Bachelor’s from the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, India.
